  • Submission Guidelines   All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through on editor email address (strategicthought@ndu.edu.pk)
    • Articles shall be in MS-Word, duly formatted according to the guidelines and publication policy of the Strategic Thought Journal.
    • Only Electronic submission (Soft Form) of manuscripts is accepted, and the corresponding text, tables, and figures shall be drafted in a single Microsoft Word file Manuscripts shall be submitted through email.
  • Formatting Guidelines
    • Title: The title of the article should be bold, centered and typed in capital letters (in 14 point) Constantia.
    • Author(s) Details These author(s) details should be in (10 point) Arial Font and should be centered below the title.

      • Name of the Organization
      • Contact No
      • E-mail ID
      • City
      • State
      • Country
    • Abstract:   All manuscripts must be accompanied by a brief abstract. Abstract should not exceed 250 words. 
    • Key Words:   Authors must mention 3-7 key words. 
    • Page Setup:   A-4 size.
    • Manuscript:  Manuscripts must be in between 4000-10000 words (all inclusive). Tables, Figures and Images can be included in the paper.
    • References:   All references should be listed alphabetically at the end of the article using Chicago Manual (17th Edition) style only.
    • Author(s) Biography:  Every author must submit a brief biography for publication in side his article.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript Requirements

All manuscripts must be accompanied by a brief abstract (It should be properly formatted as justified in Italicized text). It should highlight Research Background, Methodology, Major Finding(s) and Conclusion in brief.

Plagiarism Policy

Margalla Papers follows the policies of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan regarding plagiarism and similarity index and uses Turnitin Originality Report software. The journal allows an overall similarity of the content maximum up to 19% and single-source similarity must not exceed 5%.
